Sketches at parks

A woman was busy with her phone. And her two white dogs were waiting beside her.

While I was drawing a guy addressed to me why I was doing this. We began to talk and kept over one hour till it began to rain. Somebody passes without any interest in sketchers and some shows special curiosity. To meet one who can share talks as if weve been friends for long is another luck in sketching.
I made this one at Childrens Grand Park where I go often. That day it rained a little. I sat in wooden stool under a big parasol. And a woman came to escape from rain. We enjoyed talking for a while. I like the scenery with parasols. So I try to find an object to draw in such scene. Vertical trees and horizontal figures of benches caught my eye.
The Seo-Seoul Lark park was remodeled into park from water purification plant. And the columns with wires were left to show the previous location of plant.
Last autumn I liked to go to parks often to enjoy scenery and walk. Nobody would hate to walk in good parks with trees, maybe. The scenery in autumn was very beautiful with colorful leaves. Thinking about the past year I kept walking and tried to capture some.
