Archeology in Mazarron 6000 years ago
[by Javier de Blas in Puerto de Mazarron, Spain] I climb "Cabezo del Plomo", a plateau between Puerto de Mazarrón and Bolnuevo. There there is a neolithic settlement from were you have a panoramic view of the Mediterranean, by one side, and an immense plain by the opposite.
While I am sketching I am overwhelmed thinking that 6000 years ago there were people living here, watching this splendid sunset view. The village has a respectable size, but I only have time for one drawing while having daylight, so I choose the most beautiful frame, even though I cannot show you the rest of this interesting settling.
The faint sunset light doesnt let me see the color mixtures properly. When I get home I realize I used a too alive palette.
