In this mode, the Quality time app locks you out of your apps for the time you select, with the exclusion of pre approved apps just in case there is an emergency. If you exit the "take a break" mode, you can also set a penalty time after which it returns back. This can help one drastically reduce the amount of time spent daily on smartphones.
