Drawings from a November in Cádiz
Drawings from a November in Cádiz
[by Sharon Frost]
Cádiz. Tourists near the port. The map is always a give-away. |
On the Bay of Cádiz: the ferry to Rota: a town of contrasts. Its the location of a huge Spanish/American naval base but its also a resort and has a fishing industry as well, and a charming medieval old city. And the short ferry trip from Cádiz is very pleasant on a nice day. |
Cádiz: Waiting room, ferries to Rota. |
We were happy to be in Cádiz when friend Joaquín Hernandez (Kiki) was inducted into the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Cádiz: the first time this honor has been extended to a photographer. Blog: Day Books |
