sad News Glo Put an End to Blackberry Internet Service BIS
Im pretty sure that lots of Android device users in Nigeria can never forget Glo Blackberry Internet Service (BIS), because there was a time Glo Blackberry Plan rescued internet users from the high cost of data bundle through the IMEI tweaking on Android Devices. 
Etisalat NG started the trend by discontinuing Blackberry Plan, commonly known as BIS subscription on Blackberry OS7 despite the facts that WhatsApp extended their live support to Blackberry devices till June 2017.
Its so sad to know that Glo Nigeria has also ended support for the Blackberry OS7 device. Which means that users can no longer subscribe to any of the BB 0S7 internet subscriptions. Below is what was posted on Glo Blackberry Plans portal page.
It means that the below Glo BIS Plans will be unavailable for purchase & renewal with effect from 17th Dec 2016
No matter how you love your Bold 5, Torch, Curve or Storm, this is the high time for you to migrate to an Android device or iPhone. Even Blackberry makers no more using the OS.
Tecno, Infinix, Gionee, and Innjoo Mobile Company need to show last respect with a moment of silence for the dead of the Glo Blackberry Internet Service (BIS), because Glo Bis was one of the hunting knife used by bloggers to make MediaTek device popular in Nigeria. RIP BlackBerry. RIP Glo Blackberry Plan.

Dear Customer, starting December 17, 2016 BlackBerry services on your device (BBOS7 devices) will no longer be available. You can still continue to use the device to Call and Text. We request you to migrate to a BB10, Android, Windows or IOS handset to use your remaining data.
It means that the below Glo BIS Plans will be unavailable for purchase & renewal with effect from 17th Dec 2016

- BlackBerry Complete monthly plan
- BlackBerry Absolute weekly plan
- BlackBerry Absolute monthly plan
- BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS)

There are indications that EFCC may not be able to go after MMM promoters as they see them as people going about their own personal and private business which is not illegal. According to report from a source in EFCC, MMM is not an unlawful business as such we cannot go after the promoters of MMM. Our questions to the National Assembly is ” What are we going to charge the promoters of MMM for? What law have they violated? What money has the system stolen?. All these and many more are questions that we need to consider before taking any actions. MMM does not have any office in the country where we can go and ask for details about their activities. So our hands are tight.

The source also went further to state that people who participate in MMM are doing so at their own risk. As such they would have themselves to blame for any negative outcome. It is not for us to tell them what to do with their money. Just as we do not stop people form investing on any legal business venture, we can not stop people from participating in MMM.

I dont really know what is wrong with this Etisalat NG. At this particular time, when competitions growing stronger, other providers like Glo is tirelessly increasing their data quantity at lowest prices. Etisalat doesnt learn anything from her opponents, just busy doing unrelated.
With deep regret in our heart to alert you that Etisalat NG has just increased the prices of their new monthly data plans;
Before now, Etisalat; 1.5GB cost N1000, 3.5GB cost N2,000, 5GB cost N6,500, 8GB cost N8000 and 10GB cost N10,000
The newly increased prices of Etisalat monthly data plans; 1GB, is now N1000 1.5GB, is now N1200 1GB + 500MB night plan, is now N1000 2.5GB, is now N2000 3.5GB, is now N2500 2GB + 1.5GB night, is now N2000 Is it a system error? Could it be as a result of launching her 4G LTE service in the country or due to the current economic meltdown and recession?
